Steve Linscomb is a former television news reporter with more than 25 years experience in a number of small and large U.S. TV markets. Shortly after graduating from Abilene Christian University with a degree in Mass Communications, Steve went to work for a radio broadcast group that he’d worked with part-time while attending college.

He worked his initial years in radio at KORQ-FM in Abilene, Texas and later at KKYN-AM in Plainview Texas. Following that, he worked in the news media as a television reporter and weathercaster in Abilene Texas, Columbus Ohio, Tyler Texas, Lubbock Texas, and the last 12 years in broadcasting in San Antonio Texas. He also has served in public education administration since 2012.

While most of his experience is in broadcast style work and script writing, he is focusing on his development in the craft of fiction writing, more specifically historical fiction in both reading and in his current personal writing efforts.

Aside from writing, Steve enjoys sports, history, music, being outdoors, and the capturing of creation through photography with his Nikon D5100 and all its attachments and gizmos that help with creativity.

He lives in San Antonio, Texas.
